Not quite what I was hoping for with this one. Just kinda like a souped up, smoothed out Fat Tire. Very little bourbon presence, so I added a splash of Buffalo Trace

Sweetwater G13. I dig the hemp, not overpowering and still tastes like a juicy pale ale.

I went to go do laundry, and then I came out to see a fly and Nat’s splash landed in my barrel aged plead the 5th. Nat’s I can ha doe, but the fly made me drain pour (and it was so damn tasty). Anyway, I went down the street to Mae up for it and picked up this: Revision Dparkle Muffin - a spit on New England IPA made in Nevada. Cheers:

Casual Continuum from Resident Culture. 6% IPA, a hard pineapple bomb kinda beer. Really liking this beer, plenty of bitter with Nelson, Citra, Moasic hops. Really a terriffic hop combo, can't quite remember a hop combo featuring those hops in combo. The Nelson is really a star, but Its nicely complimented by the Moasic.

Outstanding NEIPA. Lasting fluffy head retention and thick soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with balanced wheat, white bread dough, light honeyed malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Mild pine, zesty, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; very creamy/bready malts, and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Slightly increasing lingering bitter dryness. No cloying/astringency. Super smooth/soft feel, and pretty refreshing for 6%. Simcoe, Mosaic, and Vic Secret. Extremely juicy and lightly dank/earthy hop complexity; great wheat/oat/malt balance, and not overly sweet from lingering dryness. They really have the style dialed in at this point, after multiple runs of Nawt a Cawp last year. 4.18

Fantastic wild saison! Great fluffy head retention and foamy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big lightly tart lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, pineapple, passion fruit, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, peppercorn, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, leather, and musty funk; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bready malt balance; and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast spiciness, herbal/floral/grassy bitterness; and light Brett tang/tartness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, medium body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel; slight tang/acids. Light-moderate increasing spicy/carbonated dryness; no astringency. Very smooth and pretty refreshing for 6.7%. This definitely way more barnyard on the Brett funk than previous variations. Amazingly balanced Brett/Saison yeast complexity, Hallertau Blanc hops, and pale/wheat malts. They always impress on all wild styles. 4.28

OOoh. that looks like cider it's so dark and light proof. That's ahhhh.... Turbulent. I bet thats good to go. Pineapple is a nice IPA hit as long as it's not too sweet.

Super-compelling flavor to this sausage - something really interesting about the ingredients - I had a coupla slices, put it away, but the aftertaste was irresistible so I sliced up some more... @DISKORD

Going real well with this citrusy Powder Dreams IPA...

Still tuning into some Van Halen...

They were the shit back in high school - their first album was iconic; they displayed great creativity, fearlessness, and humor - did what they wanted and so fucking cool...

Never bought into the Sammy Hagar iteration though...

1984 was basically it for them, far as I was concerned...

    Cheers...
