FoBAB 2018

Great list this year, seems to have a nice balance of styles featured. Plus usually some late additions add some excitement as well.

 

Am I crazy, I don't remember Cigar City being there in the past either.

 

Yeah Jester King jumped out as did Lost Abbey until I saw it was under The Lost Abbey. Casey, TRVE, and Funk Factory should be awesome in the sour room and hopefully Jester King gets added. They’re in our retail market so it’s surprising. I imagine Mikerphone elevates their game this year with a big stout. From a local perspective, I noticed Marz was absent after being in the sour rook before.

 

Yes. I hope weldwerks is one of the late additions. They attended the past 2 years.

 

Weldwerks was phenomenal last year. Trying them at Fobab was the sole reason I flew out to their festival in Colorado.

 

The brewery list for the WW invitational...amazing.

 

They were phenomenal last year and actually better in 2016 with Peach Climacteric and Mexican Medianoche. Hopefully they make it

 

Talked to Neil at GABF and he said Weldwerks would not be participating in FoBAB this year. He said they were participating in or will be participating in so many events (including Far and Away) that FoBAB just wasn't in the cards. Hope he changes his mind, but that's where it stands right now.

 

Agreed. The WW fest was outstanding .

 

Where's the best place to grab an extra ticket for Saturday's early session? Where do people sell these? I have 3 of us going but need one more for a good friend... Thanks.

 

My monitor color seems to be off, but as a Chicagoan I'm always willing to help a guy with a Grambling State logo in his avatar so I'll just give you one of m.....wait a minute, my monitor color is fine...Never mind Packers fan.

 

This is going to be my 3rd year volunteering. Always a good time!

 

4th year attending, first year IMBIBE entry. Looking forward to lil beaver, they poured good stuff at stout fest. Also, bottle logic and casey like many others have mentioned.

 

whelp, it looks like i won't be in attendance this year (going to london with the family (white people problems to be sure)). i have an imbibe ticket. i suspect that i'll be able to have a friend use it, correct? and that they just won't be able to get in early though, right?
