    Elevation's "Mosaic IPA"...somehow, I don't think I'm going to be on the phone today wrestling about my wife's Tricare primary care manager reassignment...



    The beer is fine but perhaps a bit dated (canned August 30th, 2018). Looks good, smell is rather subdued but fruity and citrusy, the flavor rather short on malt base highlights but certainly delivering some fine hop bitterness, and the mouthfeel medium in heaviness, dry and sharp overall.

    At the local watering hole. First beer of the day - Central State’s “Hoppig” a hoppy Belgian Blonde style:



    Clove, spicy black pepper and earthy hops. Light body. Very drinkable. Cheers y’all!

    This is pretty malty (in a good way) normally but with 2 months on it, the Flight is waning and the malt is overtaking. Still...not bad.

    I’m mentally and physically drained from all this dog nonsense. I’m sick of the woods, I’m sick of my bike, I’m sick of calling people, I’m sick of everything right now. Worst part is I feel guilty whenever I’m not at work and not looking for him. But, I need a nap.

    Saw this in the bar’s cooler, last one, and had to fish it out - “Consider Yourself Hugged”:



    The best peanut butter stout I’ve had..Strong coffee nose/taste with a fudgy finish. Awesome!
