finally back in business after some major tooth surgery .. I've been jonsin to have another one of these and it tastes as good as the first



these guys came to town last Saturday...Was bummed I missed them I heard their awesome live

I have never been crazy about Heady but I can get behind this beer. I will say after having a few Alchemist beers they have a very similar underlying flavor kind of like Lagunitas. I wonder if they would be as popular if widely distributed.

That beer has been exceptional this year. I’m on case #2 and I’m pondering another case.

 

I’ve been wanting to try this local offering for sometime. And wow, I’m really impressed. Barley Forge The Patsy, a coconut rye stout. Sweet stouts usually aren’t my thing, but this thing is quite nice:

Left work early to watch the game. From the looks of things should have stayed there. May as well start with the beers.

 

One thing about jumping styles I think @Roguer pointed out earlier is that it resets. What I think he left unspoken is it makes the reverse style shine. This tastes magnificent after all the IPAs it really pops.
