In San Francisco for a few days - treating my gf who has never been in the Bay area - got to do a great Anchor Brewing tour this afternoon, and lots of beer samples at the Taproom and the new Public Taps next door - awesome day and gorgeous weather!

Just picked up son#2 he had a football game to dress out for ( but not play for the 9th graders ), so now on to beer. Prairie Picnic PA.

Watching this game mostly pulling for my fantasy guys ( Barkley & Jeffries ), but ALWAYS rooting against the eagles.

Last one for tonight...I think. Madtree PSA (Proper Session Ale). Awfully good for a session IPA. Actually, I like it much more than their regular IPA, PsycHopathy, which I find overly vegetal and earthy. This is bright and clean, albeit with little malt balance since it is a Session IPA. This one and Fatheads Sunshine Daydream hit the spot.

    Oh, and #properglassware

It's really busy, but we love it. Family time is the best time. :hugging:

Thanks. Reminds me of having beers with you exactly two years ago.

One of my favorite wet hop beers of the season! Dank, leafy and earthy hop notes that only wet hops can provide. This beer has character and depth!

I have always loved Hacker Pschorr as a brewery their weiss was very influential to me and I love their Marzen!

My god, Allgash does not brew a bad beer. I consider their beers among some of the best in the world! Currently sipping on their new 100% Brett Fermented Dry Hop IPA!
I have never noticed so much "Dole" pineapple juice in a beer without any juice being added!

A completely hazy juice bomb. But some really nice bittering to make this one exemplary.

The musical choices tonight are going to run on the angry side. I'm not angry, it just seems a good fit.

Outstanding saison. Aromas and flavors of big lightly tart limes, lemon, orange, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, pineapple, red/green apple, melon, white wine, peppercorn, clove, hay, straw, herbal, floral, and grass; with balanced wheat, cracker, white bread dough malts; light leathery/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast spiciness; herbal, floral, grassy, zesty bitterness; and light Brett/lime tang/tartness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, medium body, and moderately crisp/clean finishing. Bready/grainy malts, some sticky hops, and light tang/acidity in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter/spicy/carbonated dryness. No astringency. Very refreshing for 5.8%. Awesome classic Brett/Saison yeast complexity; with balanced limes, spice, and pale/wheat malts; with solid earthy hop presence. They do a great job on Brett saisons, this was the best one yet.

Fantastic NE APA. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with balanced wheat, biscuit dough, rye bready malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready malt and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness. Refreshingly drinkable, super soft feel as usual. Great use of Chinook, Crystal, and Simcoe hops for the style. Very juicy, fruity, and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a perfectly balanced wheat/bready malt backbone. Not overly sweet. This is more dank/earthy than their others with the heavy C hops. Gone for the season, but still have a couple left. Already have Cart Horse and Boss Tweed in stock.
