The new Mmm...Fruit Dream is very good. Amazing nose, nice carbonation, coconut adds nicely to the finish. Lot more going on than the last few Mmm versions.

    Tried it today.

Is it delicious? Yes, for sure.

Can we even consider this beer anymore? Not sure about that.

    I agree.

Did you see the HVB beers today? Peach sounded good but other two just seemed odd. Not sure where these trends are taking the beer world.

Glad places like Suarez are around and other breweries are adding traditional pilsners and lagers.

HVB has done tons of stuff that sounds weird but it works so well, the Cider Donut Silhouette sounded really good.

Melon alert on the DDH Other Day- leads on the taste, finishes citrus pith bitterness. But how will it taste in two weeks???

Shout out to my mother in law - $100 OH gift card. If she was a beer she’d be a DDH ACE

Not as incredible as previous. Citra is the winner imo

Edit: The Other Day has that big melony thing Oh seems to be getting out of Vermont Yeast recently

Andrew at OH had a good laugh over our calorie counting concerns, reporting that they had AGE tested (which is funny) and it came back in the upper range of what @Comparison_Ford said. He laughed and said "no comment" in regard to the caloric content of recent stouts.

    I didn't gain 5 lbs upon drinking a can so I'm unsure.

I'm loving the different flavor profile. IMO, they've been spot on in showcasing Vermont yeast. Heavy rotation, please.

So the melon taste in the The Other Day... the first batch from May (not DDH) had mosaic, this one does not. Both had Vermont yeast. Can’t remember if the OG had the melony flavor but don’t think it did. I guess what I’m trying to say here is... where’s the melon coming from? Green Power has it sometimes. Latest batches of AGE has it. Is it just a brewing luck phenomenon?

It was pretty nice going in there today and having so many can options on a day there wasn’t even a release. Citra Daydream sold out right in front of me but I still got the ones I was really keyed on (Other Day, DMD, HS). Even with a bit of a line I was out in 15 minutes. Got to talk to Andre for a minute. He’s moving to the West Coast in a month. He’s always a pleasant face and a good dude, cool for him that he’s doing his thing but I’m gonna miss seeing him there and in the nyc beer scene period.
Oh, and Short, Dark and Wired is goddamned fantastic. Thick, thick and chewy. The adjucts are in perfect harmony.
