I agree with the overall notion of this. Not to start a holy war or anything, but I didn't think there would ever EVER be a time that fruited genie sours would last this long on the to-go menu- at last check, Fen Tao AND Aurelian were still available. And so yea, the collective excitement has diminished, but I also think there are several additional factors in play here, some of it having to do with the IPA craze (the imperial stout craze was rampant even during the hey day of JK), but other factors include the willingness to spend money online for beer.

The time and money it takes to drive down from dallas to JK, is the same it takes for some to get a bottle of side project BIN'ed to them... idk it's an interesting conversation either way, good to come back and read some of these thoughts, nice job on the event JK as usual, good call on keeping it open for all.

With all we're working on right now, our heyday should come somewhere around 2024

Totally agree that this makes for interesting conversation.

Selfishly, Im all about beer nerds chasing hazed out IPAs. I showed up to JK for Atrial weekend (on Friday) and was a kid in a candy shop when not only Atrial was available - but also MvB & O&P!

Thanks as always for your comments on this Jeff and for doing an exceptional job running a world-class craft business. CHEERS!
