Call me immature - I can't even count the number of times I've seen that movie and still bust a gut every time I see that campfire scene. LMBO!!

A different kind of IPA. Be forewarned: The edition of pinot gris juice and use of dextrine make this a rather sweet beer. The aroma is huge and wine like. Its drinks like a perfect beer/wine combo. Its one of my favorite Trill beers. I drink it occasionally and love it. Not an everyday or week drinker IMO[IMG]

    Big thanks to @Roguer
Having had the base beer first, this one is much better. Seamlessly smooth with hints of rum. Really, really good.

El gaucho is an argentinian restaurant in Oranjestad. That piece of meat is called here "costeleta", and its miles away as good as "vacio". Ask vacio to combine with an english bitter, ESB or strong belgian ale and prepare yourself for an orgasmical meal. In the pic, 4 vacio cuts, maybe the best meat cut ever (just 2,25 USD the half kg)

Thought I might be done, but the watermelon brew didn't quite do it for me. I'd love a sour or a gueuze right now, but failing that ... I'll just go with something entirely different.

I want to age some of this, but it's so damn good that, so far, that doesn't seem likely. If I can grab some more, I'll pick up a couple of 4-packs and try to age some of it.

    Cheers and good night, BAs!

Outstanding sour! Great head retention/spotty lacing. Aromas and flavors of big sour/tart/tangy cherries, limes, lemon, orange, fruit skin/pits, citrus peel/zest, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate wheat, graham cracker, white bread malts; light pepper, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malt, lactic acid, and fruit tang/tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy fruit dryness, no pucker. Very flavorful/refreshing, 4.8%. Not overly lactic. Awesome balance of juicy/jammy cherries, vibrant limes, Lacto, and wheat/oat/malts against acidity. Definitely worth getting a second pack. They have been nailing all the sours I've had.

Amazing IPA as always. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, apricot, mango, citrus peel/rind, pepper, and pine hops; with moderate honey, toasted bread malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced creamy/bready malt and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very drinkable and not overly aggressive. Even with the new hops they added for the 1.1 version, it still tastes like the original Chinook/Centennial hop profile the most. Perfectly balanced juicy and dank hop complexity; with a nice solid malt backbone. A true classic IPA. Pretty much just as impressive as the first time I reviewed it over 6 years ago. A lot easier to find fresh recently, I'll keep buying them. Price is hard to beat for 16 oz cans, same with the Arrogant Bastard.

A märzen by a small local brewery (Altamont Beer Works from Livermore, CA). Surprisingly good. Oktoberfest beers are a relatively new style for me, but I imagine this would stack pretty well with many of the heavy hitters. I'm loving it. Cheers!
