    Went darker on beer number 2 with a can I just received today.

    From Gipsy Hill Brewing, their Night Owl Milk Brown at 5.5% ABV. A really interesting brown ale. Tastes somewhat like a weiss but with chocolate notes making it taste almost like a banana/chocolate milkshake. It's really delicious but mouthfeel is a bit too weak.

    Nothing fancy.....But an always good Yuengling Lager Tall Boy! This is one of my always have, easy to drink session beers and is on the short list of beers that are normally my first beer of the day. Nothing quite tastes exactly like a Yuengling Lager as its very unique. Plus, can't beat the price at $6.49 for a sixer of tall boys.

    Try their NO HERO oatmeal stout - pretty good stuff I’ve had it in the last NBS...

    I’ve been holding off all fall...My first Oktoberfest Beer of the season - HB’s “Hofbrau Oktoberfestbier”:



    Bready malt with a light floral hop bitterness; soft grainy sweetness. Tasty - I should have got the sixer instead of a single.

    Pillar to Post Rye Brown

    I had this a year ago and did not give it a favorable rating. Now I’m enjoying it quite much. It captures two of my favorite things: Brown Ale and Rye. Not sure why I gave it such a low rating.
