Have at it guys. What is the thickest non barrel aged stout out there? I love stouts but they need to be thick. A recent Tree House Double Shot reminded me I love that beer.

All of the recent Horus releases. Goshawks Grasp, Territory, Beans and Proper Dose have all had great viscosity.

Isn’t Ten Fidy the standard for motor oil?

It's been years since I have it but I recall Mackeson XXX as being pretty chewy.

I think it should be close, but isn't Old Engine Oil more logical? (Although I don't recall it being as chewy as Mackeson XXX.) https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/323/875/

Ten Fidy quickly comes to mind.

Bell's Expedition Stout was thick, at least based on my memory. I was pretty new to beer at that point (still haven't formally reviewed it either).

Founder's Imperial Stout and Mother's MILF are both thick.

Hill Farmstead Everett which is a Robust Porter is very thick (chewy). If you can buy this beer, do it!

    Cheers!

Normal 'ol Yeti is incredibly dense. No clue if it has been reformulated over the years, but Stone's used to be up there.

I agree with a lot of these posts so far, but I will also add Evil Twin Even More Jesus.

Althought more chalky to me than most stouts, it is incredibly filling.

My last Ten Fidy was a disastrous soy bomb, I'll never ever be able to drink one again. That was just foul to the extreme.
