Pretty tasty brew. Also a shout out @Greywulfken for a post he made a few days ago. Had some of their stuff on my list, thanks for the nudge. The bacon and cap were free.

[IMG] Long day running around taking care of pay-day errands. Have a trade in the works that I am so utterly stoked about. Making plans for my birthday to try to something meaningful because I haven't since I was 16, and it turns out my apathy is making it rather difficult. Stop 1 is Portland of course. Considering Boston. Considering New Hampshire. No idea. Oh well.
Hey! Here's a Foundation Zuurzing! These guys are great. This was my go-to hot summer day drinker. Shop supply is rapidly dwindling, so I just had to pick up a couple cans to bring a little bit of summer back on this 35 degree day. Good beer.
    Cheers, everybody.

NEDIPA (8.1% abv), canned 9/24/18, featuring Galaxy and Vic Secret hops... Looks like orange juice, drinks like a beer fruit smoothie... Lotsa of tangy citrus and zestiness - smooth and softly carbonated with impressions of orange, lemon, passion fruit, unripe mango, and sharp pine... Better than moderate bitterness, only mildly sweet, but with lots of bright and tingly notes... Clean and lean despite the body-feel... a real nice beer...

@RaulMondesi supplied me with some new Cali Brut IPAs, among other things. First review. This was very nice. Great fluffy head retention/foamy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, mango, watermelon, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, and pine hops; with some cracker, white bready malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Pretty muted aromas. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malt and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Some resins/rinds, light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, not overly aggressive, 6.5%. Other than the weak aromas, spot on stuff. Great El Dorado, Centennial, Amarillo profile. Very vibrant and fairly juicy/dank/earthy hop complexity; nice solid pale malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness from crisp dryness. 3.88

Fantastic imperial dessert stout! Great head retention, and soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, nutty medium roast coffee, maple syrup, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, cream, biscuit dough, and toasted dark/brown bread; with light notes of molasses, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, char, tobacco, and herbal/grassy/peppery hops. Light herbal/grassy/spicy hop and roast/char bitterness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and fairly full body; very creamy/silky/bready malts; light slickness, sticky hops, and chalky char/roast. Lightly increasing lingering hop/char dryness, no acrid/astringency. Very smooth, minimal warming 8.5%. Outstandingly rich and well rounded imperial stout malt complexity; great coffee, maple syrup, and doughnut flavor presence/balance. Solid earthy hops against sweetness. Better than Doughnut Break by a fair margin! 4.25

Was the "old" beer better ? That's what counts ! Labels may make a beer recognizable but not much else imo.

Pours a murky golden color. The head is 1 finger, white, frothy, and the retention is good. A bit of lacing on the glass.
The nose is a mellow hoppy aroma. Not very strong, but there, and a pleasing pineapple aroma.
Taste - A lot more hoppy than I was expecting. Nice pineapple flavor. Not very strong, but there, and easy drinking.
Lighter bodied, but not watery in the least. Hops do linger a bit.
    Delicious, easy drinking APA.
