Yes, a very tasty beer. I find a lot of Prairie beers here.
Still in the cast for three more weeks. A royal pain in the ass!
Looking at that bottle share, I'm amazed you're up and about.

Wrapping up lunch beers with ole' reliable....

 

I ordered a Surly Todd the Axe Man. This is a very different beer (for the worse) than the last couple times I had this beer. I’m not convinced it’s the right beer. But who knows. I’ve only had it a couple times.

 

One of the very few beers that I look forward to drinking every year Narwhal great stuff. Pretty fresh bottled on 08/23/18.

MIA 305 Golden Ale bright sunshiney day brew . . .




Attractive clear golden color with white cap and lacing.

Aroma of rich grain and something slightly plum like.

Taste is straight forward solid grain with some bright, slightly piney and citrusy hops that enter mid palate and build toward the finish. The hopping level isn't high, at least insofar as I can taste, yet clearly enough to offset the grain. Flavors are simple yet well defined and work pleasantly together. Finish is quick and clean.

Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

This one speaks with a quiet voice. Balance is good and the overall impression is good. Should work well with food and casual company. A solid middle of the road Golden Ale.
