More Brewing Co. (StB) - (2018)

They responded to someone on Facebook and said they expect it to last the weekend. I hope it does, but I've seen you animals in action.

And I agree with your assessment. Lots of coconut and not a ton of barrel. Very similar to the other BA releases.

 

I’ve never been pleased with the service at More. I’m generally wondering where in the world my server is.

 

I've enacted the "Seat at the bar or nothing policy," with more. That's about the only way I've been able to get beer and food quickly.

 

I think they want Karma to last the weekend. I'm willing to bet some people are driving hours to pick up bottles, and More would like them to enjoy a pour while picking up.

 

At Henna 4 they noticeably changed things where the taproom line was longer because the wait was for tables. What I mean is, they cut out like 20 people who would hover around the bar or sides (for the most part). I typically wait for the bar seat myself.

 

I’m in the same boat. The service I’ve gotten at the bar has always been A+.

 

I hope you’re right. There just isn’t any precedent for them doing that if you look at all Henna releases to this point (Henna 3 required the ticket which made it last)

 

If you have to sit at the bar to get good service, then the place has bad service.

 

I hear you. My favorite brewery (on Southport) has amazing bar service but it isn’t the same at the tables. Not sure how that comes out in the wash

 

Assuming you’re talking about the same place that is also my favorite brewery (and closest to my house), I feel you. That’s my only gripe about them. There’s just a sense at both places that the servers have better things to do than to...serve food and beer to customers.

 

Karma is great. Had to wait 10 mins to get it though and it’s not that busy

 

I thought Karma was the best of the four BA Hennas to date. Great body, delicious adjuncts.

 

Anyone know if Karma is on tap today?

You should be greatful to get anything at all. You’re in the presence of giants and lucky to be given the opportunity to pick over any of their left over charisma.

Still on as of 45 ago. I got quite a bit of cinnamon and some barrel. Not so much of the coconut. Really tasty.

And I, too, commend them for having enough to taste it on draft this go ‘round. It got me in the door to spend money on lunch.

 

Still on tap, even bar service was absolutely brutal today.

Overheard one shitfaced beer scalper chastise another at the bar for several minutes over some beer scheme gone bad. Worse than $1-$2 NLH nits. BA Karma indeed.
