I totally agree, mine was crystal clear.

I picked up two singles and have had one, decent but nothing mind blowing. I can see why people would say that this is an IPA but to me it doesn't quite finish like one, which I like. Good beer and you probably won't be disappointed with a sixer but for me the two is good enough.

Crystal clear for me as well. Either way, enjoyable beer.

I had the some light hazy snow globs in mine.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but unfiltered doesn't necessarily = hazy.

No, but I am expecting to see a little substance.

Clear for me, too. It seems less hazy than last year's, but it tastes very similar (I'd even say identical) to 2017.

It's an awesome beer, but I do remember 2016 being better. I tend to think, however, that that's a reflection of my palate, which is determined by changing year-round availability and other trends, than production of the beer because Waldos' is still godlike every single year.

Still, an absolutely fantastic beer that I'm going to drink the hell out of.

One positive about this year's BY is that the bottle has an actual date on it. We've all long complained about Lagunitas Julian code dating. This year's BY is the the 1st Lagunitas beer I have seen the bottle on date on.

I seem to recall them doing that every year for this release.

Just hit here and 1 sixer will do for me. It's good, but not what it was two years ago.

They have and even used yellow ink in the past so that you could actually see it easily and not have to use a flashlight

Hopefully they're listening to consumers and will start using a bottles on date like they have with BY on all their beers from here on out

I thought the main excuse was changing the machinery to do this? If they do it for BY, why can't they do it for all?

They can do it for all but choose not to.

Ah yes!!!! I love how many people weigh in on things they have no idea about or pass judgement on beer before attempting.

And I found this years solid.

And I too found this year's version to be solid (very good).

Boy, I hope some year they can replicate what they did in 2016 - that version was OUTSTANDING!!

    Cheers!

A sixer down now. It's citrus grassy and dank driven. Super dry backend. It tastes like a very well done local IPA that may be falling off within a week or two. Not anything close to ne or hazy or sweet or super juicy.

Is this beer a thought of our imaginations?

Haven’t had the Chicago release but the Petaluma batch is definitely unfiltered.

Agree, I am lucky and have a lot of great stores/breweries but TW has its place especially when buying beer for parties, or other items, etc.
