Are they worth buying bottles of?

I thought they both were solid.

Strawberry turned out to be a standard sweet chocolate/vanilla stout, maybe a hint of strawberry if you're really looking for it. Pistachio was better, in my opinion. Killer nose that smelled exactly like a salted pistachio, and much less sweet.

Then again, I thought Coco What Now?! was very underwhelming, whereas everyone else seemed to love it.

Had the pistachio one. Pretty much what I expect from an OH stout these days*. Better than they used to be but 4oz is plenty. There’s always something a little medicinal for me in their high octane “adjunk”-laden beers

*did get a short dark 4 pack. Crazy the flavour in that for the abv

This batch of ACE is freaking awesome. Can busted on the way home so I said why not, we don’t waste!

    Haha.

I keep missing every ACE release despite my intentions to take your advice and show that beer some love.

I think they have lots of ACE left. And also on tap/growler. Do it!

I have to say though - while normally I think ACE > Double Citra DD (essentially the lacto version), despite loving both - I feel like last weeks DCDD did it for me slightly more this time round. Both fantastic tho

Thankfully working in the BX the next few days so won’t make it any time soon. Let’s see if y’all leave me some. There is so much beer around the city right now it is silly.

This is my first time having Always & Forever and I’m curious to know if this an exceptional batch or if it’s normally this good.

Nevertheless, I’m very much enjoying it.

It’s normally good. Very underrated beer for OH.

Between these last batches of triple/double Citra daydream and the current ACE, other Half is slowly changing my allegiance from Galaxy beers to Citra offerings. They all have been way more enjoyable than anything else I’ve had over the past few months.

Someone else said this earlier, but it seems to be all about riding whatever hop they're doing well in the moment. Right now that's Citra.

Yesterday’s release was one of the best OH releases I’ve been to. Drove up from Philly at 8:30am, got a parking spot right in front of the garage where they sell cans out of a little after 10am, hung out in the taproom and was able to try the new bottles (which were absolutely fantastic), and shuffled back over to the garage to buy cans of some of my all time favorite OH beers.

Honorable mention goes to the sandwich dude inside - that coconut cold brew was phenomenal! Sipping an Idaho 7 + Galaxy now, and this is so hoppy and dry. Love it.

How was the drive from Philly?

I know that driving in NYC can be an absolute nightmare but how's that area of Brooklyn driving wise?

I’ve done it a few times now. Straight shot up the jersey TP to Staton Island, then into Brooklyn. It ain’t bad.....it isn’t a scenic drive but it’s not horrible to do once in awhile.

Space case heads... ID7+Galaxy is already fire, only Cashmere+Galaxy beats it for me on the half+half IPAs.

Damn how much did you pay in tolls alone? Verrazzano is like $15 alone, no? Another $10 minimum on the TP.
