    Very rich aroma of grain with a definite rye spice and floral, citrusy hops.

    Taste is hop forward with a bright zesty hop presence. Hops do overshadow the malt/rye but grain also plays it's part adding a depth of support to the hops. I do pick out the rye spiciness by mid palate that lasts into the finish.

    The hop presence here is so large that it's easy to overlook the grain at first but grain presence slowly builds and becomes almost equal to hops by the end adding a noticeable grain nutty spiciness in the aftertaste. This is Rye Beer writ large.

    Other Half gets all its attention because of its IPAs, understandably, but this stout is phenomenal. Everything comes together in perfect harmony and the coffee and bitterness is amazing.

    I’m going to be a Godfather for the 3rd time in about 2 hours and I couldn’t be more honored to be asked by my brother-in-law and his wife. Cheers all.
