so after a minor hiccup with Canada Post... of which I think I'll need to vent my experience to their customer service tomorrow... apparently the poor postal worker feared delivering such a 'devastating' box to my office. Even the girl at the post office was afraid of it... had me follow her into the back room to remove it myself.

So yay, finally... got my box home and unboxed!

Glad your happy with everything! Looks even more impressive all layed out haha, I was a little stunned when I saw the picture, didnt even think I fit that many in there!

Just a heads up to those still waiting on a box to arrive, I just dropped off a box at the post office and it should arrive by the end of the week, if the nice lady at the desk is at all trustworthy....
I hope I did an ok job, tossed in a couple of my personal favorite wax sealed seasonals from years past. Enjoy!

Uncle yardsales story time:

Once upon a time I was packing 30 beers into 2 shippers. I needed some additional packing material from my truck so I throw open the door to go outside. I 100% did not look down at where my feet were, because it's like 7:15 pm. I squarely kick a large box and nearly fall off my steps. Apparently a box was delivered sometime between 7:10 and 7:15 with no knock or bell. The best suprise.

This was possibly one of the most solidly packed boxes I've ever seen. I got so excited I:
A) didn't finish emptying the box before I took a pic of the beers
And
B) accidently packed one of the beers into the wrong box twice.

The one I accidentally packed into a box, then removed then put in another wrong box, then removed, then put in the fridge.

Damn. Most of these bad boys won't last the week. My old lady was eye'n them up pretty good.

My boxes are going out today, and with any luck should be arriving on friday in the second oldest city in Canada and the home to an aptly named hockey franchise.

 

I am hard-pressed to determine which one of these (if any) is a terrible gimmick beer I requested. Only one way to find out: poppin bottles.

Hmmm my box was in the mail to my target yesterday, but got a notice that it may be delayed due to the postal strike, and now only supposed to arrive Oct 30th... LAME! Sorry to my target, should have arrive by the weekend, given your distance from me.

 

alas, work robbed me of the time to pack my other box... I will certainly make time for it today since it's no meetings Thursday!

 

Came home from work today and found on my step a spectacular box from Hamilton. Incredibly excited to dig into this! A big thanks to a very generous BAer.

 

My 2 people I am sending east of me. Much apologies, but the box has not been filled and aparantly there is a box waiting for me that I haven’t picked up yet. New jobs and such have kept me busy. But patience is a virtue and some fun things are coming soon.
