The Locals HINTS AND HAULS THREAD

The first time I called FedEx customer service the lady abruptly told me that it would be sent back to me. Here we are, 6 days later and no updates or information. It's weird that they track packages in motion so accurately and timely, but when there is an exception it drops off the face of the earth.

 

With mine, the tracking showed it en route, then it just stopped. I had to fill out some paperwork (which just included the same $100 value I claimed originally -- and I think it was only 4 or 6 bottles), they made me wait a week or two, then they reimbursed me $100 PLUS the original shipping cost (which I don't think I ever got charged for anyway). I don't think they ever even asked me about the contents, so I dodged that bullet. I will see if I can dig up any old documentation via my Fedex account.

 

I told them it was collectible glassware and the package was insured for $100. Thanks for your help.
