I won't be attending, in person, but it's possible that The City of Subdued Excitement will be represented.

I was thinking of opening the Thirsty Ghost if I don’t drink it before then.

Thanks for the invite. I was playing it by ear, but now it looks like I'll be heading in the opposite direction that weekend. You guys have fun, and don't do anything I wouldn't do! :sunglasses:

Azi! @akatz821 This is completely awesome, and an idea I will absolutely steal!

Hudson Valley Silhouette with tangerine, and Purelake sour IPA with Semillon grapes
    Tilquin Quetsche draft crowler
    Suarez Palatine Pils
    Mystery beer! (Hint: wild)
    Mystery booze! (Hint: peat)

Love the Hudson Valley, Tilquin, and Suarez, but you have no idea how excited I am for the mysteries, plan on seeing those this NBS. And plan on seeing mystery beers in the future in any box I send this group.

    Cheers brother!

This is a fun one to try. Would definitely make for a challenging mystery beer. Is there a particular herb added to this or a specialty liquor barrel? I love how banana mixes with the other flavors as it warms up.

=D I think you'll like the booze forsure, and all those beers are pretty darn awesome (plus I couldn't say no to a spooky crowler for halloween =p ) you can't even imagine how close of a call it was.. thats the absolute last shot from the bottle. Can't wait to see what you think of em!

    1. Another from @Dwood1466return fire. Texas brews some ass kicking brews. Turning Point Extra Pulp. The minute I popped the can and smelled this I had high hopes and it did not disappoint. Loads of sweet citrus aromas and the taste follows with loads of citrus and a substantial pithy bitterness with a light malt base. Blinded I could easily believe this to be a NEIPA. Tasty Stuff. Edit- the bitterness overwhelms just a tad. Needs just a bit more sweetness but still good.[IMG]And some amazing guitar from Mr SJ.

500 ml bottle from 2017. Poured into tulip. Pours a dark, dark brown (I can’t say that it’s black), finely bubbled creamy tan head, recedes to just a fine inner ring.
The aroma is molasses, bourbon, milk chocolate.
Taste matches the nose. Chocolate, roast, molasses, rye spice, bourbon, touch of heat. Lingering vanilla, and just a hint of marshmallow. Pretty sweet for a RIS but I’m not going to knock it down for that. How could I? It’s too good.
Thick, rich and chewy. Slick with light carbonation washing it down.
Another top notch beer from a top notch brewery.

From @FlintB 's ninja box. Hazy Like A Fox from Transient Artisan Ales. Damn solid hazy IPA. Thanks for sending this to me.

Pours a hazy golden color. The head is white, 1 finger, frothy head with great retention.
The nose is citrusy smelling from the hops. Grapefruit seems to be the aroma to me.
Taste - It has a nice grapefruit flavor. The hops aren't extremely strong, and is a bit mellow, but they are there and delicious.
The body is very creamy. It is full bodied.
    Delicious hazy IPA. Well rounded.

Had a couple of ninja boxes set to go today, stopped in on my way to work to ship from OfficeMax and their FedEx printer was down. The guy said I could use my account number to fill out an air bill. Filled them out then got to thinking it may be scrutinized a bit more with everything going on so I held off. Hopefully going out tomorrow.

My favorite thing this month is that the Post Office misdelivered one of the bombs. They delivered it to the return address Debbie Wasserman Schulze. I thought they only did that with my beer.
