They are sold out of cans. It’s on draft though.

They would absolutely blow the lid off of northern California if they expanded here. LA has Monkish at least, which is about a 7 hour drive from SF but their brewing style and quality is the closest we have to OH here.

SF/Bay Area beer drinkers are still VERY old school and resistant to change in their beer tastes but places like Cellarmaker and Alvarado st. have slowly been chipping away at the old timers notions that West coast bitter/piney IPA's are the pinnacle of beer achievement.

I would flip my shit if they came here, alas i'm moving back East in about a year so i'd probably never see it.

Take a page from Aslin's book and do it at Yankee Stadium, and one-up the Mets and Mikkeller? Sign me up.

At this point OH is on the way to becoming the Evil Empire of craft beer, it'll be a perfect fit.

Damn, the new stout is sweet. Think Maple Creamies.

Also, has anyone noticed that the variant of Crickets on the board is one that hasn't been canned? B1 was Waiti, B2 was Moteuka, but the variant on draft is Tettnang, Spalt Select, And Hallertau Mittlefruh.

Whoa, that's an awfully traditional hop bill for the style. Is OH losing their edge? :astonished:
    Too traditional to can?

Anyone know if the PB SD&H is on tap? Has anyone tried it? I have a love/hate thing with peanut butter stouts so far, but I do love the SDH base so I am tempted to pick up a four pack over the weekend. That said, I really didn’t enjoy the maple variant they canned last year (way too sweet/maple dominant for my tastes).

Yes per https://otherhalfbrewing.com/location/taproom#taplist. No idea what it tastes like, but do post if you buy it. I'm a peanut butter fiend and was very tempted to get a 4 pack, didn't, and would now like to live vicariously through your taste buds.

Dollar Slice is not on at Blind Tiger but 15 other OH beers are. Pretty expensive for 8oz pours as usual. Had a glass of mosaic mandarina which was fucking awesome. Also; the new batch of SDW is the best one yet.

Those $300 kegs no doubt. What's the pricing?

I thought someone said (can’t remember if factual bar owner type comment or armchair speculation stuff) that those keg email prices are just what the consumer pays; that bars have a different set of pricing

Yea I was talking to bartender of a place that gets there stuff pretty regularly and they were saying that Other Half is some of the cheaper kegs they are getting, so that must be the case.
