I have no problem with the $10 overhead for charity. That's not the point.

 

In fairness, the actual post isn't particularly clear. And that is a crazy disparity. There's about 35 Binny's I think. So Binny's in total gets 100 cases, or 1200 bottles, and sends over 80% of their entire allotment to the one store and less than a half of 1% to the remaining stores. I know they want that to be the big kahuna, but that ratio is just incredibly extreme.

Do people actually drive and park their car at Binnys LP? I am contemplating going this year but being out in the burbs I have no idea how to even attack the transportation side of it. If I drive I have to find a parking spot that wont cost me $60, if I dont drive im stuck carrying an allotment and the wife wants breakfast as part of the deal.....

 

I now view you as additional competition, so take this as you will:

Street parking has never seemed to be much of an issue. I even parked in the Binny’s lot last year.

A few years back that may have been the case. But not last year.

 

No worries, the parking answer is genuine and the competition part was tongue-in-cheek. Beer is supposed to be fun, too many people are forgetting that these days.

 

Pretty sure their lot will be closed on Black Friday this year. Thought I read that on the announcement. Wasn't there last year so can't speak to that.

 

Yes. According to gentleman I spoke to at Binny’s LP a couple weeks ago, they will be clearing the whole lot the night before and setting up a path for the line. It will be much more organized this year.
