Dreadnaught on draft is always a winner though it’s not pub only.

Floyds also does German style beers really well, which kind of always got lost because of their reputation for being one of the first “in your face” breweries in regards to hops, but they’ve always done them well true to style.

This is very true. And the newer lagers they have been putting out the past year or so have all been excellent. Really hoping Savage Flow makes it to bottles (or cans).

Like X100. I find myself almost exclusively ordering those when I go there these days. I’ll get one ZD pour and then switch to their German style beers.

Pillar of Beasts - a Barrel-Aged Salted Caramel Barleywine releases monday at the brewpub.

    from FFF’s website:
Somewhere in the distance we hear the pounding of native drums. Was it in our minds? We don’t know. What we do know is that we made a salted caramel barley wine, put it in bourbon barrels for 12 months, and added vanilla beans and cocoa nibs. Taste the scrumptiousness.

who would have thought Floyds would be spearheading the pastry barleywine movement...

Did they release BA Behemoth this year? If not, perhaps a flaw that only a little salted caramel added could fix.

With vanilla beans and cocoa nibs being involved I would hope this is an English barleywine

I missed it because of ignorance. At the time, I admit, I was just getting into craft beer and when I say just getting into craft beer I mean I was only into FFF. I would buy anything I hadn't had from them, but the price tag on this one when I took it to the counter made me say no. Knew nothing of sours or different styles really. Would love to try this.
