Just received this awesome little box from @TongoRad. Perfect for this rainy and windy old Saturday. Some great brews I cant wait to try. Thanks Michael you didnt have too but you made my day! (Plus it was wrapped in the Bergen Record- brings back memories.)

 

Nice box @TongoRad had some Sloop beers recently and they were really great.

 

Agreed. Both of his reviews are like WTF?!?!?

At least he hasn't been on in 16 weeks.

Yeah, I've really enjoyed everything I've had from them, whether it be hoppy or sour. This little shop always seems to have a keg of something on, too, so those 16oz. crowlers are a great way to try beers that they're not canning or don't make distro.

 

Nice I hope they are removed, it one thing is you really do not like a beer and I may be off base but he seems like he has an ax to grind.

 

Glad you here you are starting to get some better local breweries, but I will say I remember you sending me a lot of great beers in an earlier round!

 

If you are that this share expect to leave with beer, some people might be bring beer to give to people to take home as crazier bottles (or cans) might be brought and opened at the share.

 

Yeah! You were my first BIF target! We had good beer back then, but now we are starting to get breweries I'm proper proud of all around.

 

Agreed. That's why I reported them. My guess is he worked there and got fired or something like that, and wanted to "stick it to the man" by giving bad reviews that have no basis in reality.

 

Sounds very reasonable to me.

Catching up on the thread, I agree with a lot of what has been said. I know this round I did a bad job keeping up with posting at least twice week (work has been bogging me down), but if it was a formal rule for the BIF I would have done a better job meeting that exception.

I feel posting on NBS should be a requirement, even if they aren’t a NBS regular. The point of this is to try to give people a chance to try brand new beer; even if they are not making a formal review on BA, just posting what they had and their thoughts on some of the new beers are what make this fun!

Posting hauls definitely should be a requirement, I would say that even if you don’t have time to post your haul right away you should post that a box (or boxes) have landed and you will be posting later so the sender knows you got the beer.
