I still think a (10?) hints minimum should be stated up front too. To give perspective on what is normal for this BIF.

10 sounds like it could be too much, though- I don't think I've ever gone that far. Maybe more like 6?

Well, the H&H thread is generally put up about 4-5 weeks before the share date, 2 posts a week would put somebody at 8-10 hints. Remember a lot of the early hints (I'm shipping {direction}; my targets state touches water; etc) don't really eliminate many folks. I regularly get well into the teens with my number of hints, but, everybodys mileage varies.

I think a hints minimum would be around 5 or 6. 2 posts per week doesn't necessarily mean every post is a hint, after all.

10 might be hard to enforce, after all, depending on how long the H&H thread goes on, and whether or not someone guesses their sender early.

It might be better to go with a combination:

-2 hints (not just posts) per week until your target guesses your identity.
-2 posts per week, even after your target guesses your identity.

I think 8 might be a better number for the hints, definitely given those earlier hints that don’t elminate many people.

I may have picked up a few things for folks to take home — including something near me Matt’s mentioned wanting to try.

This is heartbreaking. A box that @JBowenGeorgia mailed me from Hawaii was left on my porch double bagged and still leaking.

I open the garbage bags and it smells f'ing delicious. I shed a tear. I almost don't want to know what the casualty is.

The first two bottles seem to have survived intact...

The last bottle couldn't have been more smashed if I had taken a hammer to it for 60 seconds.

Fuuuuuuuuu..... that's a 2017 Rusty Nail, a big time want. Sadface.

The two that did survive are also incredible:

Firestone Walker Bretta Weisse and Russian River Beatification, another want. Damn @y2kawakami , way to hook a brother up! Thank you so much!

Ok, I guess Corey didn't ship stuff while he was on Oahu. I saw I had a few wants sitting around my beer storage facility. No sense letting them age; send it to someone who'd enjoy it. John @JBowenGeorgia , have fun with some Abyss. Brian @FlintB , sorry that the Rusty Nail didn't make it; I was lucky enough to be in Seattle when it dropped last summer, and my road trip took me all the way down to Santa Rosa, where Beat b7 was released too. To the USPS worker who decided to smash the shit out of the wrong bottle:

Another beauty from a ninja package. Tonight it's from @Bum4ever . Cool Runoffs. Quite easy drinking, and delicious.

This beer pours a nice murky, hazy golden color. The head is 1 finger, white, frothy, and long lasting. There's nice lacing on the glass.
The nose hits when pouring with a hint of citrus. Up close you get a mellow citrus aroma. Pineapple and grapefruit.
Taste - The flavor is mellow up front. On the backside the hops kick in. I really get pineapple. Not too much with the grapefruit that I got in the nose.
The body is decent. Somewhat creamy. Slight lingering of the hops in my throat.
Tasty, and fairly easy drinking IPA.

Those are pretty easy requirements to meet. Although Im leaning towards 8 posts I think content of each post plays a factor.

    Well played @y2kawakami
That sucks for the Rusty Nail. Looks like USPS has been rough. At least they bagged it and delivered the rest.
