Kind of how I feel today after 2 long nights of baseball. I hope it’s over tonight, it will be nice to sleep in my bed instead of being to lazy to leave the couch.

This stuff is excellent.

 

Feeling a little under the weather today, my taste buds are off, can’t really appreciate my IPAs today, so I’m sipping on a Knee Deep Stoutella...Prost!

 

Too nice outside for me to be anywhere but my backporch drinking beer. @alexsergio sent me this one.

 

Pipeworks premium pilsner at 4.9% is a perfect match for a football Sunday.

Harpoon dunkin porter, this seems to get mixed reviews. It's not overly complex but does every beer need to be? It still provided a nice flavor profile and went down very easy. It may not beat a founders porter but it held it's own and was fairly drinkable

 

2016 High West

 

A good friend who likes beer, but is not weird (BA) about it, gave me an assortment of Highland Brewing beers. This bottle says that Gaelic Ale is their flagship. It's a little thinner and hoppier than other NC ambers that I like more, like Old Meck Copper. Glad I tried it, though.

 

My last of these with an accompanying glass of 19% mead my buddy brought over. The mead is interesting. The smell is great, big time lingering honey. Taste is very enjoyable. Apples, figs, sweet honey. Booze is there but this is really good. I have some footie to play later so I gotta take it easy, lol
