Canbif, Fall 2018.

Seems like Canada Post decided to deliver my package today. Somebody should have a box on his porch by now...

 

Glad you’re happy! I had to check, but funnily enough, I sent you a CanBIF box in one of the 2015 rounds as well. I think in that box my “local” beers were all from Toronto, as Hamilton didn’t have much going on back then. Now Hamilton l has enough decent breweries to actually put together an interesting box. Hope you enjoy!

 

Finally unpacked these beauties I haven't tried from GRM.

 

Can confirm that my box has arrived! My wife has sent me photos of as proof!

I however, am in Philadelphia doing the American beer thing and won't be home to crack the box until Tuesday...

I'm feeling overwhelmed by all the potential bottles!

There were not much goses available (as we are switching seasons) otherwise I would have sent you some.

 

so last Thursday work kept me from packaging my last box(again)... when I finally did on Friday I was told it wouldn't have mattered, damn strike hit Vancouver and no pickups were being done. Appears it only now has been processed and is now en-route east... far east!

 

Looks like a package is waiting for me at my local box. Looking forward to getting that and from no longer checking my neighbourhood mailbox.

 

I've got my first box today. It's coming from Ontario but I don't know who is my new best friend



I know some of them already but it's solid stuff. I'm looking forward to try all of them in the following weeks. Thank you Man! ( and following my BA preferences

Touchdown from a percussion shop in Nova Scotia (I think).

Sound haul of stouts, barley wines, and olde ales - most of which have lived in barrels before being bottled.

 

Hope you enjoy! Did my best to meet your tastes.

 

So finally, after unpacking my own haul from the states, I found myself sitting on the floor of the living room. Across from me, a box half the size of me.

Kudos to my sender from Quebec! It was an oversized, overstuffed, and overly generous. So much care went into bubble wrapping each bottle, boxing multiple sets and sealing the whole package, I can only imagine the time and effort that went into this.

The beer. Oh wow. I have only had the pleasure of having had 2 of the 13 bottles you sent me, and those 2 were so good, I'm almost more excited to be getting them again than discovering what new bottles I can pop.

While I know of most of these beer, I have only had the Auval and the Sirkawa. Which I'm very excited to have another chance to try again.

It is more than apparent that my sender not only crushed my porch, but his wallet as well.
I'm blown away and very grateful. Thank you for making this round such a treat, as well as raise the bar for my own boxes going forward.

And once more, shoutout to Electros for doing the work on the back end to make this happen.
Can't wait for the Spring!

 

Don't be afraid to cellar those Ra Ra Rasputin bottles! I hear the 2016 is tasting amazing right now.
