    Knocking off my very last Young's chocolate stout. Didn't think I had one left. WRONG.
    Book is finally out - held it for the first time as an object last night - glad it's real. But I won't be reading it, just in case typos are left. :wink:

    Boiling up tea water for my work thermos, but also opted to have a very rare pre-work snort...



    An incredibly balanced imperial stout, looking fine and smelling rich and inviting with notes of cocoa, charred grain, and milk chocolate. The taste reinforces and amplifies the nose treat with additional "wow" factor with a deceptively high ABV presence that doesn't come across as harsh or brutal. The mouthfeel is all oily heaviness counterpointed with a gentle boozy warmth. An awesome stout...

    I'm jumping in with both feet today. The ridiculous sediment in the Maßkrug feels like a slap in the face. Looks like pieces of coconut. Anyway... at least it freakin' smells divine. Prost.

    Doing trip planning and drinking Portrait Mosaic Ale by Bergslagens Brygghus, which is new to me. Nice, easy drinking beer, sort of a cross between an APA and a golden ale.
