    Barleywine is the only good wine. Though there is one called "the seeker" i've seen at the grocery store i'm tempted to grab a bottle and watch harry potter

    Devil's Chair by Red Cypress from FL. Got it in a recent BIF box.

    This one was dated 8/10/18 and has faded considerably.

    I kinda got screwed on the whole BIF thing (I had asked the creator of the BIF for no FL boxes as I just came from there with lots of beer, and he sets me up with himself - from FL, and sends me old IPA and styles I specifically have a preference against - almost like a damn practical joke), but I'm gonna try to enjoy what I can. This one has grassy notes with slight mango and navel orange, with a lot of hop spoilage and onion. I'm about 1/4 way through and I have to drain it. The blood orange version was considerably better. Cheers

    A beer break after grocery/beer shopping for a neighborhood Halloween party tomorrow. It's 35 degrees cooler than yesterday and a good time to pop the cap on my last bottle of Victory Java Cask bottled 25 OCT 2017. I'm surprised at the amount of coffee still present and the barrel is very prominent as well. This is one of my under the radar favorites.:yum:

    Knocking another BIF main box beer out. Canned 7/10/18

    Holds up pretty well surprisingly. The flavors are so intense and the malts are so heavy in this beer that the hop spoilage underneath tends to get buried to a level that's quite okay. I still have some of this left over from my last trip to FL, but I haven't had any of them for a good while and didn't review it up until now (big oversight on my part). I may just hang on to the other ones, I was planning on giving them to my step dad (still might). Gave it a 3.89 out of 5 overall. Nice complexity with blueberry and lemon, with caramel malt and dark bread crusts. The 7% is politely warming.

    Fifth and last beer of the night. Opulent by Alefarm, the first DIPA I try from them. And damn, this album grooves, just astounding...
