Halle Berry's pet Octopus: NBS BIF 8

I’ve taken care of one other person on the list too. Although they aren’t aware of it yet.

 

I'm glad this post popped up at the same time I was trying to figure out the best way to send some cans

 

I like the idea of a low-key, low-volume December BIF, so I’m down.

I prefer not having mandatory share dates. There are days near the holidays that I’m either with certain people or driving a lot, so I abstain from drinking. That’s the biggest of several reasons I’ve never joined the 12 Days BIF, despite being tempted.

I can do 8, but have to close the box a little to tight for my liking. 7 is my sweet spot, 4 across the bottom and 3 in the cracks along the top.

 

Yeah, I leave about an half inch gap on the top and bottom between the box flaps, a bit of a bump up top sometimes.

 

I was able to get 18 12 oz cans in a large priority box. It was Tight. not much bubble wrap. But it wasn't all bulgy and it arrived safely.

 

He isn’t playing this round. He’ll be back for the next round hopefully.

 

Mine just landed in good shape so I feel much better!!

 

I feel like the notifications work or don't work kind of randomly. I got a notification and was close to the end of the list. I also should probably be removed from the list so nobody has to ship to another country.

While I'm talking about it, the watched thread notifications might be the most random of all. I keep thinking the thread has died down and then put of the blue Will get a notifocation and will come here and realize I've been missing out for a couple days through no fault of my own.

 

Yeah I stopped using the notifications and just come to the thread each time. I am not sure why they time out to me what seems random. If you miss a day of this thread you are 2 or 3 pages behind!!!

I have been ninja'd since that list came out. Two others on there should be hit today...

 

I guess I pissed off @beertunes. Maybe a lackluster review or something? A huge box just landed, cracking my porch in two. Inside there was a note that said “Think you can do better?” and roughly half a 55 pound sack of Munich malt...



I’ve never done all grain brewing before, but I’m up to give it a shot. But damn, Terry! I never said I could brew. No idea where this is coming from.

 

Oh, my! I'm laughing my head off right now.
