So, now that it seems like lining up for OH is unnecessary to get all the beer on a Saturday release, the frequent weekday drops show some love to the locals, and we haven't had an ugly ass Teku release coinciding with a hype collab release in a while - what else can we complain about?

    how are the hand dryers?

Can't wait for that curly fries glass, it's going to be awful. Part of me thinks the glassware craze MOSTLY came and went, though obviously is still alive in small circles.

Hand dryers are just fantastic, really get the job done. Even if you don't like beer I would recommend going to OH just for the hand drying experience

my guess is they'll wait until they get to 4 beers in that series, then they'll release them together with 4 glasses. Also - high chance that 1 of the beers in the series will be a hyped collab with monkish and/or Trillium to help draw out the hypecrowd

If you want to get nitpicky (something I am adept at) then on top of the stout refocus to 7-10% ABV, I’d say my other one would be can purchasing on non-release days.

They have that merch/can counter but it’s sort of sporadically manned. For people who only want to buy cans to go (or growlers/merch too) I think they should be able to consistently buy from there.

I mostly pick up cans on non release days and mostly line up just at the corner of the bar as opposed to that growler/merch side as I've had better luck getting in/out quicker that way.

Did anyone see their story the other day where Mikerphone brewing was in to brew a stout? They make good stouts if you are into the sweet stuff, so should be a good one.

Yeah I do that too. Because of the point I just made. Just saying in a perfect world lining up with the people getting pours wouldn’t be the most efficient option if you only want beers to go, given they have a can/merch/growler counter already set up

Not sure what time of day you typically go but when I go on non-release days I’ll be there in the early afternoon and stand in front of the merch/can area. Someone typically comes to take my order relatively quickly.

If it’s not during release time on a Saturday, it’s generally Friday or Saturday evenings, or daytime Sunday. Which are definitely peak times I agree. But a) we were challenged for new complaints and this is the best I could do, and b) I still think you should be able to rock up and get served there whenever.

Usually, like @afroskully I just go to the pour line. The other day it wasn’t too busy, so I went to merch station. The lady serving people that was closest to merch station kept looking at me but didn’t come over. After about 5 mins I went to the pour line (hers) instead. Ironically as I got to the front a guy came in and went to merch counter and she went and served him. I was like “chapeau my good lady”

The future is robots guys- we need a machine capable of vending cans (personally I think if you want to wear the hats you really should be forced to stand on line thinking about that for a little bit before being allowed to complete the transaction).

Legit idea for OH guys that read this thread. How about teaming up with Fresh Direct / Foodkick?

Edit - assuming the r&d on the transporters doesn’t play out

    Equilibrium, as well!

On another note, stopped by the taproom today to try the two Into the NY Night variants... Damn! Both were stellar, despite being served in those 4oz glasses.

Visiting NYC for the first time and want to pick up some of the Saturday release. Any advice as far as when I should show up? I'm not looking to buy out a full allotment just a few packs.

Also, if anyone wants to get a beer with me, let me know.

    Cheers.
