    What a wet miserable weather day

    Visited a few thrift shops, cleaned up in my basement / cellar areas some, and did some shopping for food and beer - picked up the new SN Snow pack - which I will crack open later...

    my lake is very high, and the State ODNR is blowing tons of water out of the spillway just up the channel from me.....crazy amount of rain!

    Well was gonna save this for tomorrow until I looked at the date on the bottom and was like "gotta drink it as fresh as possible" Didn't eat breakfast this counts as that. Will this diet work? Well fuck right off Hop Butcher

    Probably playing with fire as I nurse this beer at Maggie's Bar & Grill in Boonville, MO along with a snort of Jim Beam, especially since being on the road since 3:30am to get here, but it is, after all, my so-called 'Beer and Bourbon Fall Fling as I head back to Ohio for a brief spell. Besides, the Hotel Frederick in Boonsville is a fine establishment to crash until hitting the road early again tomorrow to get to Mansfield, OH.

    The beer is a solid lager, crisp and clean with a mild cracker and toasted grain base nicely complementary hop presence.
