Good to see that Marty's been reanimated.

 

TGIF!!!

 

For a DIPA pushing 2 and a half months old, this is still delicious. Still a class beer. First night done in my new location. A little further of a commute but a pretty easy night’s work. And, hey, it’s Friday. Cheers to that.

Finally most of the rains have moved east of OH, and I got a nice 3 mile walk in this morning; part of the trail was flooded, but it was still nice...saw lots of deer and autumnal tints

Some coffee is in order....from the new SN Snowpack

I really need to clean up, but I’m procrastinating.


I also really need to try and find another sixer or two of this...I’m already half way through this one. Insanely good.

 

Woke up this morning to find the first cold front of the season has moved in so stronger brew is required . . .




Clear deep gold color with white cap and lacing.

Very rich aroma of grain with a definite rye spice with floral, citrusy hops.

Taste is hop forward with a bright zesty hop presence. Hops do overshadow the malt/rye but grain also plays it's part adding a depth of support to the hops. I do pick out a rye spiciness by mid palate that lasts into the finish.
