I’m looking to try that one myself in the not-too-distant future.

Did a blind review of the Kentucky Beer Dad, it is great, I feel that it was pretty close to Sucaba in quality, with a unique doppelbock like mouthfeel and finish.

16 ounce can, dated 03SEPT2018 with #MANDABAV printed on bottom.
Pours a golden yellow, with some haze. Chill haze perhaps?
Fluffy white head of about 1 finger, recedes to small ring around glass with great lacing.
The nose is tangerine, white grapefruit pith, green melon and cracker.
Grapefruit, honeydew melon, grass, light dank, Clementine orange and lemon candy.
Softer mouthfeel, lighter carbonation, lingering hop finish.
Good beer, I usually prefer a sharper hop bite but there is a ton of flavor for the lighter ABVs.
The past 2 days I’ve worked 36 hours and I’m very thirsty. Mrs Strohme2 and I hit Founders-Detroit for a quick lunch and CBS bottle pickup. She doesn’t know it yet, but many, many beers are to be opened this weekend.

Hello all long time since I've been here. I'll say I could be enticed to partake in this event but mostly it will depend on the timing of it. We have some travel planned in Dec so alot depends on the dates.

Yesterday, I had long miserable day at work, in the rain, and didn't go check my mail. Today though, it's sunny, clear, warm and pleasant, and my mail contained a box from @Victory_Sabre1973 . Said box contains:

Peace Tree brewing William Milo Stone Imperial Stout 12oz stubby bottle
    Fernson Curio Tart 12oz can
Fargo Brewing Stone"s Throw (which is funny because there is a Stones Throw brewery in my town) Scotch Ale 12oz can
Beaver Island Selke Pale & Oktoberfest, both in 160z cans.

    Pics in a few minutes

This gets me tantalizingly close to finishing the 50 states! Thanks much James!!!!

Oh, and a box just landed upstairs for me from @nc41 . A report soon to follow.

Well, Cackalacky has announced it's presence! In the follow-on box I just opened from @nc41 were the following items:

    Some coozies, coasters, and stickers.
    Westbrook Gose 12oz can x2
Westbrook Key Lime 12oz can x2
Olde Mecklenburg Mecktofest Marzen and Capt Jack Pils both 12oz bottles
A Mystery beer (but, the logo on the cap leads me to suspect that it's from Wise Man)
Resident Culture Causal Continuum, Inked in the Womb, and Brain God. All 16oz cans.

Thanks again Dale! Looking forward to these!
