    Good Eastern Standard Time morning, BAs, from the wet heartland of Ohio...

    Revisiting a CBC 'Insane Wanderer', this time in a glass, so I can properly review it and not just in arbitrary numbers by rating it while drinking straight from the bottle like I did a few days ago.

    Good morning BAs! Thanks, @beergoot, for starting today's thread! Well, it's yet another damp, chilly day here in NW PA - typical of both fall and spring. Mrs. Lizard and I are preparing to head for TX Wednesday - lotta crap family heirlooms to haul to my brother's house - looks like Mrs. Lizard will finally be able to put her car in the garage after sitting outside for two years. Now, of course, mine won't fit inside the garage, but Hey! Happy wife, happy life.
    Today's New Breakfast Beer(?) is:



    Third picture, the head drops RAPIDLY. Meh. Nice iced coffee brew, not so sure that the 5% ethanol really makes it a beer.

    Just finished breakfast at the Mansfield Restaurant - Southside (where I used to cook for about six years or so back in the late 70s - early 80s before starting my USAF career). Still good food and very inexpensive to eat there. Good coffee there, too, but thought one more light jolt of coffee in the morning would hit the spot. It does...



    Nice golden body with a frothy head. The aroma exudes toasted grain, charred sugars, and coffee grounds. The taste just amps up the smell with some additional caramel and vanilla tones filtering in. The mouthfeel is relatively light yet creamy; a bit warm with some nice prickly bitterness on the palate.

    Good morning BA
    I came up one beer short of my goal yesterday on NBS. This is the CANclusion (royalty check is in the mail) of my Oktoberfest reviews. Thanks to @woodychandler for the chance to try out 10 new O-fests this autumn.

    This is a really good beer. I get a lemony note in the finish that most reviewers did not, but at least one other did. Solidly made Oktoberfest anyway. Cheers all!

    Dunno why I'm starting with this, when my liver could use a break after my whirlwind Chicago trip. Stops at Half Acre, Dovetail, Spiteful.. even got to On Tour and Around the Bend breweries.
    so. much. fun. and. beer. Cheers to all...now back in Colorado. Finishing up this last of the 4pack of the NB Black Imperial IPA

    Gonna follow the crowd and go with a coffee beer, Morning Nightcap coffee porter by Arcadia ales. Tastes like some cheap black coffee, I suppose that's appropriate for monday.

    This beer is finally classified as an AAL here on BA and the couple I've had from my six pack have been enjoyable. Good with lunch anyway. Cheers all!
