That was me at noon last Friday.

15 minutes (sometimes less) in Uber or an easy subway ride.

People are in town for the Marathon.

I was at Grimm and Interboro yesterday. Both were slammed.

The gold label is on tap. Can confirm, is gross. At least we might get City Slickers 3 soon.

Wait...Camp Coolship, a 4.7% ABV ale...is $22 a bottle? Oh riiiight, it's a 'wild' ale aged in barrels (not second use?) for 2 years.

Yeah, I'm lost by your comment too @SudsDoctor .

This beer sounds the most promising of the release. At least on paper. Haha. OH doesn't exactly excel at wild ales, saisons and such. AZ Wilderness either.

My read on it is that he’s saying wtf about the price when it’s low abv beer in a style that neither brewery is known to excel at. And then he points out that coolship/wild/barrel are how they get away with it.

BUT, you acknowledged yourself it's a wild ale (usually pricier) AND aged for 2 years in barrels (spirit barrel or first-use, always pricier). It's also spontaneously-fermented. If it's a 500mL, I think it's overpriced. If it's a 750, it's priced on par with other beers of that genre. If it's not good, well, last I checked no one bases the price of their beer on how it tastes.
