Can ticker also include people who rate a lot of beers, even small sample pours, without properly reviewing them? Kind of like someone who goes to a beer fest and rates everything they try from a 2oz glass, even on their 12th one?

I spent more money on my BiF target this week than I did on myself! I was drinking Sam Adams and they got a box full of some of the best local breweries in the state. This was only my first one but there is a huge satisfaction in sending someone a box full of great beer for them to enjoy.

I think I actually did this one time, when I got too drunk at Allagash once, because it was my birthday, and I got way too much free beer, haha.

I'm gonna go with yes on this one.

    Oh wow. I can't believe I didn't catch that.
Man, that just secures my belief that the people on here are some of the greatest people you'll ever meet. I wish the whole world could be as caring and compassionate as the craft beer community on BA.

Honestly, I wish I could partake in that kind of giving. I've only recently gotten into trading for the past year (on Reddit, mostly, but have several going on BA right now). I love being able to send beer to people who otherwise can't get it. I just wish I could actually afford it. I'm very young, and I make shit pay, and I just sold everything I own to move to Maine from California to try to find a better life, and better my chances of actually making it to 30. It's been rough. I don't even have the money to try some of the killer New England bets for the first time (Trill, Tree House, HV etc..) let alone target random people's wants list. I really wish I could. That would make me feel so much better about myself. Once I'm financially and emotionally stable, I will BIF to someone. That's a promise.

I have actually connected with a few people on here via the trading scene, a few of which are some of the the kindest and most supportive people I've ever met. Beer friends can certainly be made on here.

While I am new to the BiF community I can already tell they are by far some of the kindest and most generous people I have ever come across online. It almost seems like a family. Well, maybe a family with a few more drunk uncles than usual

I moved from the East Bay area. Contra Costa County. Oakley.
Before that, I lived in a tiny suburb called Orangevale. Northeasternmost Sacramento County. A mile from Folsom. At the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills.

If one chooses smartly, the buy-in is low; maybe a hundred--ish ounces of beer, a piece of swag, and whatever shipping costs. Hint: USPS is cheap and quick.

I've only ever stuck with UPS for beer shipping, because I've always just been under the impression that that's the proper etiquette. FedEx or UPS. Do people honestly not care if you use the postal service? On the same coin, I've also never received a box that wasn't UPS or FedEx.

The buy-in? I browsed the forum, and didn't find anything explaining that? Do you not just randomly pick someone, and send them beer? I guess that makes sense, because I was thinking, "how the hell would you know a random person's address?"
I have so many questions now.
