Breakfast of champs, using this to wash down a few Krispy Cream Donuts.When on vacation.

 

Shopping and chores finished I'm done for the day with scheduled activities. Time to sit back . . .


Good clear golden color with large white cap and abundant lacing.

Pleasant aroma of mild malt, pineapple and yes, apricots.

Taste is of a mild brew flavored with pineapple and apricot. My first thought was this is like drinking a dreamsicle. Clean, fresh flavors that carry through to the end.

Mild to medium texture with balancing carbonation.

Good enough in it's own way, this is a simple Summer brew not unlike a Shandy in that flavorings are the main attraction. It's inoffensive and pleasant, sort of a pool side kind of thing.

 

Gotta love how you brought your own beer glass with you on vacation!

 

Almost forgot a kid, but not a durable glass that could hold up to the 1,200 mile drive along with a bunch of New England juice bombs. Cheers

 

Big week: first post in NBS and now first up for WBAYDN!

 

The good news: the cast is off!
The bad news: back in the boot for a month, limited weight-bearing, and no golf.
Drinking an altbier from Gordon Biersch.

 

I plan on going through these three oldies over the course of the day. First up is Conquest Ale. I'm totally on the other side compared to the haters of this beer. It's like a still, sour-ish wine or cider.

This is a very complex hazy IPA.
