Bourbon County Prop Day 2018

I used Spot Hero to grab a nearby spot for a decent price.

Depends. How drunk will you be? If extremely, you can probably put your car into the side of the barrel warehouse.

 

Not everyone gets hammered just because the opportunity is there.

We had people give us drink tokens multiple times last year. One older couple left by 3, and had only used a handful of their tokens, and gave us the rest since we weren't driving. There will obviously be those who get hammered, and shouldn't drive. But there are plenty who will be fine to drive, also.

 

The event is in an industrial corridor surrounded by businesses closed on a Sunday.

You should easily be able to find street parking within 5 blocks. The only cash lots near there are only open for United Center events.

You should be able to park within the boundaries of Ashland/Grand/Damen/Lake. Also a good amount of street parking just east of Ashland too

 

Free street parking is readily available. You’ll have a 2-3 block walk at most.

Ah Yes! The old waiting in line hoping you get the sneakers game. I remember those days when that was my first hobby. Now craft beer is my hobby. Fuck me, why do I love hobbies that involve waiting in a line. LOL!

 

From today's Prop Day email:

1. There will be an option to purchase a mystery bottle for an additional $30. You’ll have to find out how that works day of. It’s a surprise, don’t tweet us questions about it.

 

Yeah....just saw that. I'm already broke enough GI...c'mon!

 

Speculation? Maybe it will be reserve? Needless to say I'm now spending at least $100 at the fest lol.

 

Random, unlabeled bottle will be either Currant, Horchata or Neopolitan BCBS

I hope it's a wheel of variants new and from years past.

 

It would also be pretty fun if it was a true Prop Day attendee only bottle. Not available at Binny's, Black Friday, etc.
