The last batch of Mosaic Crush that a friend grab seemed a bit lifeless, didn't pop as I remember earlier batches. Could be ingredient variability or the different system, but I'm hoping for the former. Haven't had a batch of Holy Hermit on the bigger system, really hope there's no variability as I love that beer.

All that said, I'm hoping they do a batch of Nelson Crush with the current crop. After seeing what ASB did with Nelson, Baby! I'd like to see that one come around again. It was very good the first time they did it, and I'm wondering how it'd be with this crop.

I was not super impressed with the last batch of Citra Crush'd myself, after having loved it last year. Yojo 66 1/6 was not very impressive to me, but it was my first time having it so can't say if the quality has gone down. As long as the OG Yojo and Electric Lettuce stay on point I'll be happy... If I can ever get my hands on them again lol

New batch of "The Hermit" from this week tastes pretty good. Pretty much as I remember it.

I also got some cans of Simcoe Double Crush DIPA, but I haven't had a chance to try them yet....

Seems like they are doing an all new 100% Nelson beer later this month instead.

"Black Friday" release date. 11/23 - All the Nelson's NE IPA

Looks like it will be a quadruple can release on the big holiday, including the WeldWerks Collab.

11/23 - MoonWerks NE DIPA -WeldWerks Collab
    11/23 - All the Nelson's NE IPA
11/23 - Gam Gam - Blackberry Cobbler Milkshake IPA
11/23 - Jingle Crush - NE Pale Ale

Interesting My buddy just said it was his least favorite batch of hermit , more maltier biscuity. I do like how some liquor stores near me in SJ are getting all the cans now but they all charge $26 a pack so I think I'll just buy a couple singles.

Thinking of a Tahoe trip, would love to hear your thoughts so I can know if a stop is needed for cans.

Simcoe Double Crush was good/alright. But not my favorite batch or beer from them.

Good week coming up. Electric Lettuce might be my favorite.

    11/12 -Dojo - NE IPA
11/14 - Dr. Chill NE IPA
    11/14 - Electric Lettuce - NE DIPA

Hopefully Electric Lettuce sees distribution to the City. That's an 8.5%
DIPA I can always count on!

Tried to get out of the SMOKE.... so headed up the hill to Auburn/moonraker last night. I liked the new IPA Dr Chill, it was different with the El Dorado Hops. Had a West Coast IPA and the Mexican Lager as well.

When back up to Moonraker on Saturday to beat the SMOKE again. Even at around 1,300 feet elevation..... the smoke is better then in the Sac valley.

    Yojo on tap. Really good.

    DOJO can last night

I think I might have actually liked this Dojo batch better then Electric Lettuce this time. Strange as it is usually reversed??

Dang! My wife and I went to Tahoe to avoid the smoke on Saturday and I was planning to stop, but my wife wasn't having it. I was able to stop by yesterday on my way back since she is staying a couple extra days with her family, but they only had Dojo cans.

How is this batch of Electric Lettuce tasting? I may take you up on the offer if it is up to it's usual quality :sunglasses:

Got up to Moonraker on Saturday. Crowded for sure. Heard Friday was packed as well. But all 4 cans available throughout the weekend.

I think the best new one for me was the new "Moonwerks" DIPA. Collab with Weld Werks from Colorado. Very good.

Also went through a few shared flights.

When I drove through CO heading back home, I picked up various offerings from Weldwerks. They were all excellent. I expect something made in joint efforts between them and Moonraker to be up there as well. Hoping to get a can at least of it (and the upcoming releases).

The Maple version (BAWW) was better received then the Coconut version (BAWW) locally it seemed.

    +++++

Also one side note. I tried the new "Foamwalker" Coffee Stout on Nitro. Pretty tasty. Chocolate upfront for sure.

I tried both, and actually preferred the Coconut myself. But I don't like overly sugary stouts, as I've learned from this one and CBS. Maybe I just don't like Maple in beer.

Local place near me had both bottles available. Wish I would have picked one of each up but for some reason (most likely money) I decided to pass.
