I couldn’t answer that yet as I didn’t crack mine open yet.....

I honestly couldn’t believe that the price point wasn’t the same for those two. I’m not complaining just a bit surprised

This beer was well worth the 30 dollars. And based on FFF pricing history for these sort of releases, I'm grateful for $30.

Had on draft and from the bottle.. and honestly this was a primetime release. Its excellent all around. I'm not a big vanilla fan but I've thought FFF has always done a great job with it. And they definitely know how to work a bourbon barrel

Well shit I drove past there today and didn't stop in. Maybe on payday in a couple days I'll stop by for a draft pour. Don't want to pay $30 for a big bottle unless i bring it to thanksgiving. Not a horrible idea but, i'm selfish and would want it all for myself.

Is this batch of pear bear the same as the original?

Not sure but just drank one and its = or > than the original. Say what you will about store bought pale ales. They're finely tuned with under the radar releases.

    Pear Bear is great

Maybe there is something above that I'm missing, and I just can't place this comment, but...What are you saying about pale ales in relation to pear bear?

Oops. Meant so many people form their FFF opinion based off 8 week old gumballheads from the store. But for those of us that frequent the pub and know what's going on.. we know they're still an OG and a relevant OG in the beer game

Meaning people buy old six packs from a brewery that thrives on freshness yet they miss their big high quality releases
