Looking for Marshmallow Handjee or Bourbon Barrel Aged Dark Lord Imperial Stout from 3 Floyds.

Open to other suggestions, preferably >13% or barrel-aged stouts

*First post, please do let me know of any corrections on how to go about doing this.

It always helps to note the year (or batch) of the beer you're trading (and the one you are in search of) if the beer has been made multiple times. For instance is this batch 1, 2, 3 or 4 of FO. Also I think unless your FO is batch 1 I don't think you will be able to pull either of the beers you are searching for, but those that know better than I can speak to the trade values of the different batches. Cheers!

Adding which batch you have will always help, most likely these are out of reach unless you have batch one but even then it’s tough.

Most people are not moving those bottles for FO, but IMO it would take 8+ of FO b4 to get a conversation started. I think regardless of the year of FO your looking at having to do quantity for quality. Someone might do FO b1 1:1 to tick it, but even that is no guarantee. Fortunately/Unfortunately the production of FO is way up compared to past years making it easier to get and creating a lower demand/value.

Full disclosure, I wouldn't trade 8+ FO for either of those bottles. Unless your only looking to tick super hard to get beers I'd just drink them.

Very refreshing to see useful/helpful feedback instead of typical thread-shitting. Kudos BA'ers!

You have to be open to feedback and not be intentionally trying to maxprofitz for this to be effective. Most people know what they are doing.

As a fellow CA trader dont go for the first off the bat. There are so many good breweries around the area that wont require you to ship $150+ retail chasing for a bottle that might not be great. It appears at least with handjee theres a lot of variability and you might end up with a not so good bottle. Even if you do, dont aim so high sometimes you'll strike gold with something more attainable like black gold. BVDL is a chaser and with 0 trades even if you had some more diversity in your FT list youd still have trouble getting interest from someone that has a bottle.

Oh wow thank you to everyone who supplied feedback on this for me. I didn't realize you all would reply so quickly so gave it a couple days. Well the batch I have is the latest from a few months ago, batch 4 I think.

I didn't know how to select one to try so just used the top lists. Didn't imagine how much variance in values exist among the different types. Again, thank you for the feedback, it's much appreciated.
