Yeah I could spend hundreds and thousands of dollars traveling all over the country to attend festivals and travel to get beer or even hope to get a 1 ounce pour at a share. I also could load up my truck with mules in tow and just get as many bottles as possible and simply trade them off. I simply choose the latter because it's quicker and easier. Just call me lazy..

The only thing proven is you clearly feel foolish, because I found a way to trade for what I want. Guys like you typically try to belittle others that are clearly smarter than you in an effort to save face, but we all know your simply jealous of me. Thanks i appreciate the envy...

I don't care if someone has their significant other or a friend with them and ends up getting a few extra bottles... waiting in a line by yourself can be less fun anyway. But bringing a ton of mules with you isn't great for the community.

To me it's the equivalent of driving down an exit lane and then cutting everyone off in traffic... Yes, you got there faster but by screwing over everyone else behind you who was doing the right thing.

Now, if something doesn't sell out in a day or two, take as many mules as you want... that doesn't bother me then since anyone around had a chance to get it already.

I can’t say as I care how many people one brings to a bottle release to acquire more than the set limits. Bring the whole village for all I care.

That said, I’d probably refrain from broadcasting this on a public website. Breweries tend not to like ‘muling’ and in some cases have denied bottles to those who cavalierly “mule.”

Breweries often like to attempt to spread the love with their limited releases by setting allotments per person. You are bringing a bunch of mules with you so that you can buy way more than the brewery intends one individual to be able to purchase. Regardless of what you're doing with them afterward, you can see why some people feel like that is kind of scummy behavior. It's surprising that this kind of reaction surprises you.

I think its entirely possible OP is just trolling?
It's pretty easy to understand circumventing the per person bottle limits is off-putting to a lot of people. Also that it is not a brand new cutting edge "smart" idea that he came up with, most of us clearly choose to not engage in getting 6 mules for releases.

Trolling? Like I said I'm new to trading so I don't have a huge celler to offer guys to get what I want so it's either I try and "buy" the beer I want on the grey market or just have a few buddies help me get good beer to trade with. It's that simple.

Of course it's real. Who would be a member of a forum for over 11 years only to troll? Just because my opinions on how to acquire beer differ from yours doesn't make me a troll.

Contemplating how many bottles to get?! You should be thinking CASES! Buy Big, Trade Big, Win Big.

LOL. In one of his posts, where he was describing his recent behavior as a "Win Win Win," I almost asked him he was Donald Trump. :sunglasses:

I think the real problem is how this thread was started. Theres nothing worse than (if you're new to trading) hoarding and sitting on bottles hoping for them to go up in value and start doing some weird over posting in the trade forums. That's when you turn into sinhoptra.
