Cellar check: the BA Coffee Break Abduction released in March is tasting quite lovely. Sweet, coffee forward & a bit less boozy than when it was released.

After seeing issues with online lotteries and ticket sales for other breweries, it make me smile knowing how Pipeworks releases their BA.

In true Yogi Berra-esque form: "It's accessible because it's accessible." If those releases sold out same day, everyone would be rushing to get them before they disappeared. It's amazing what happens when people have confidence in availability of things and the brewer doesn't hype it up to induce a scarcity mentality.

Any idea when we're gonna get some more BA offerings btw? Me and a buddy are sitting on some Murderous, waiting to exchange them for when something else drops.

A couple of weeks. Yields are supposedly low. Have fwb emails gone out? I had the cognac Jones dog and really liked it, but you need to like cognac I think. Very bright.

For my Arlington Heights/NW Burb BAers, skip Arlington Hts Binny's for Pipeworks cans and head to Trader Joe's in the same plaza. On Saturday Trader Joe's still had plenty of Citra and Unofficial Beer Sponsor as well as the usual Pipeworks offerings. Binny's...wiped out.

Skipped Citra but grabbed a UBS and that's a damn fine beer. Very tasty stuff.

I tried this hunt at my local Trader Joe’s (Batavia) for the first time, and wasn’t as successful. Just the standard offerings, but did get premium Pilsner for $2 less than Binny’s. Something I will def keep in mind for upcoming can releases since they allow splitting.

FWB Emails went out today (I hope you don't mind I share the details of these emails as long as I'm not posting the link, but please let me know if so @NOTpipeworks). Not sure if Nov. 30th will be the public release or that the bottle limit will be the same for public, but I believe that's what they've done the last couple of times. There are plenty of most to go around:
