Not sure of their ratings, but as far as cheap..........

    PBR
    Schaefer
    Yuengling Lager
    Genesee Cream Ale

I always have some of these on hand in the garage beer fridge where I keep my common cheap beers.

I don't know if it's rated low, but kostritzer is decent for the price.

Go ahead and splurge. That 15-pack I got was $5.99. With tax and deposit, it was still less than 50 cents a beer. I think Milwaukee's Best will be my next pig roast beer.

And @superspak rated it higher than I did, so I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I had some Asahi Super Dry recently when I went to our local izakaya. It really was much better than I remember, far superior to Sopporo IMO.

Asian Adjunct Lagers are pretty fun to tick. So far my favorite has been Orion Premium from Okinawa. Really excellent adjunct lager, IMO and at 3.04/5 it seems to have garnered some praise (in respect to other AALs). Give it a try sometime "For Your Happy Time" (that's what it says on the bottle cap lol)

While we're on the subject of "low rated beers" I'd like to toss in a couple from Europe-- Portugal to be more specific

    Super Bock
    Sagres

Those two lagers are available pretty much anywhere you can get Portuguese food. I loved both of them equally but they have enough distinct qualities to differentiate each other. Both are pitifully underscored (in my opinion) @ 2.82/5 each

I'll see if I can budget this one into the line up.

    Maybe next brat season.

Someone is welcome to cover over and attend the grill on our snow covered porch. I'll sit inside in the heat and make sure no one drinks your beer inside

I did order a brat last night at a beer release. Delightful experience.

When it warms back up, I'll make a trip back to my old college town and buy a couple bags of brats and some local cut steaks. Great prices with a solid array of flavorings, including some wicked hot ghost pepper ones.

Uh, ya know they can be cooked inside as well, right? Put your brats and more than enough beer to cover them into a dutch oven, or other pot, cover on. Stick that sucker in the oven, maybe 250-ish. Go have a beer and watch the game. Come back in a half-hour, and put a sliced onion and some Porter into a fry pan. Start it hot, then cool it down, let the porter slowly evaporate. Get out your cast iron grill, and heat that sucker up. Just about the time those porter onions are down, pull the brats from their bath, and grill 'em up. Put the porter onions in a roll, stuff the brat on top, insert into face.

Woah. I now have weekend plans.

Prior, I'd just grill the brats after spending time in a beer boil. Toss the buns on the grill at the last minute with a hit of butter and serve.

Alot of people have already touched on alot of the AALs which I like quite a many but for imports and craft my top rdevs are:
    Saranac Lake Effect Lager
    Sixpoint Jammer
    Sprecter's Belgian Tripel

Then there is a long list of German lagers and American Craft german lagers too long to name them all that I love but ratings are significantly lower.

Man, I'm doing this. But I'm going to wait until the first decent snow and then grill them outside. Hell, I might even cook the porter onions on the side burner of the grill whilst drinking a beer out of my #proper grilling glassware. What could possibly go wrong?

Ya wanna caramelize the onions just a teensy bit before ya add the porter. Just enough to get 'em sweating, then add the beer. Then let all that cook down.
