Just brutal. So glad I told my kids the iPad was "broken" for a while. They forgot about this and we removed it from the history.

    You should be.

I've just replaced food with craft beer. Works for me. Priorities you know?

I tried that once and they just moved on to my phone. Then I got their IPad out, because obviously I need to read Beer Advocate. My wife was really confused when she walked in the room.

Moderation and self-restraint is not the advocate way. Turn in your membership card immediately.

Anybody know how the GI taproom was looking beer-wise at the end of last night? I'm thinking of swinging by at open today.

Can always call first, but twitter said should be on tap through weekend, wasn’t crowded yesterday and half the people were drinking standard GI offerings. Glad I stopped in yesterday, first two double barrel pours for me, liked Brandy better of the two, and the new Maple BA offering was very good, but not BCS good.

I don't want to sound like an asshole, but...you can call now?

I haven't been in a while, and when I used to go, they didn't have a phone at the taproom (I hate how stupid this entire post sounds).

Hmm this may entice me to take a drive down, I was pretty unimpressed with the regular double barrel BCBS I've had.

Their untappd page is usually pretty good. It says everything is still on, and there were checkins up til the end of the night with the DB stuff.

Yeah, I check Untappd, I'm just always a little wary of taking it as bible. I've had bad experiences with people updating their pages.

So......how many people are "out" if the LP full allotment is $350? I ask this specific number as it is the cost of Chicago Whiskyfest that I go to every year, and every single year the price tag offends.

For the record my guess is $250.

I've been out since that was announced, but I also might not even make it to a BF Bourbon County event. For me personally, there are too many other BA beers on the market or coming to the market, to justify that much money being spent/portion of my beer being dedicated to BCBS.

I am struggling as I received a $100 binny's gift card for my wedding..... I have forgotten it every single time I walk in the store, if I spent it already I wouldn't even be considering this.

I wouldn't even consider spending $350 on the allotment at LP. I'm hesitant to spend $200 or $250. I doubt I'll be grabbing every variant, anyways. I'm thinking I'll grab the regular, vanilla, orange, and bramble. Maybe one more if I'm feeling up to it. Oh... and the vintage bottle that likely comes at the location(s) I plan on hitting.

If you're planning to apply the gift card to a BF purchase of BCBS I'd double check whether they'll allow it. I have this vague recollection they've not allowed it in the past.
