perhaps i missed it, I wasn't really looking for it, but i did tip over 3 of the 8 hop shower cans - and they didn't have dates at all.

Yeah I noticed that last night as well. It seems especially annoying there because of the changes in dry hopping.

Also this batch is tasting great!

Was just thinking this last night as I carved a pair of Indian clubs from some driftwood I found while out surfing with @BoardwalkBock

Seriously it really is a stellar batch

BA Bad Decisions does not reflect a material improvement over previous OH BA stouts- it's sweet chocolate syrup with whatever other flavors they added. I swear in a blind taste test I could best this with a Westbrook Mexican Cake washed in bourbon. I've done it before; you should try it sometime.

BA OH stouts have definitely not always tasted like chocolate syrup, lol. the BA stouts they've put out recently are a HUGE improvement over older BA stouts like Cane Life or BA In Absentia Luci or Orbit or whatever. either the grain profile is becoming more dialed in or they've learned how to hide the flaws, because those older stouts had a weird ass grain profile and were muddled and not very enjoyable.

take it from someone who held on to the Cane Life set for too long... there is a huge difference between ie: the mexican chocolate Cane Life and BA Bad Decisions.

I didn't think the coconut helped either. Plus at $5 a taster, it's cheaper to buy 16oz at the bar than it would be to take home a bottle. The $5 EQ tasters rubbed me the wrong way too.
I've still got a bottle left from the set, might crack it for science...

I have no idea if this is an answerable question, but I'm gonna go for it anyway. Is there any possibility that there will be beers (cans, in particular) available to-go a week from today (next Friday)? I've gotten the idea that they have a bit of a unique week planned due to thanksgiving and other reasons.

    crickets may still be around.

can't really say until we know what they're releasing before Thanksgiving. If it's a bunch of hyped Collabs - nope. If it's their normal fare with maybe 1 collab - decent chance, if there is no collab - very good chance beer in cans will be there next friday.

It depends on what and how much drops on Tuesday, in the past Thanksgiving has been a total shitshow but they have a lot more capacity now. The rumor is they're dropping a bunch of collabs which I think will make it less likely that cans will make it.

they've been making a lot of beer lately, tho! even if they sell out of the Tuesday stuff I'd be surprised if they didn't release more by Friday. It has been many months since there were no to-go options at OH, I don't think a few hyped collabs will change that.

I don’t go as often as most of you guys do, but I think OH will have cans on the regular from now on, not factoring in the expansions. Sometimes you’re gonna have a few options, sometimes you’re gonna have 5-6 can options. It’s such a great time for beer. Sand City used to sell out every beer, every release the day of or early the next day, now I have at least 4 or 5 options. It’s great.

My god, no posts since 730 PM yesterday? I'm ashamed for this thread. What ever happened to bitching about morons lining up at 11 PM the night before? Where are the complaints about the morons pissing on people's stoops and "that guy" who always seems to find his friends in line right before they open? Can someone please bitch about bracelets and the numbering system??!?

This increased capacity has really put a damper on my Saturday morning reading. #OHHatesLocals.
