They've announced that it's your responsibility to line up in order of your tokens.

 

LAME.That didn't happen well at all last year.

 

Yep, just saw the post. You best believe there will be upstanding BAs doing their best to ensure people are actually abiding by the rules here. It's really sad that it is even necessary for them to do so.

Entrance through Beer Garten Brewery Door: $5.00 at the door or free to those who come dressed as their interpretation of an Elf!!!
The Scoop:
Celebrate the release of 4 Elf Winter Ale by enjoying an unique appetizer buffet prepared by our kitchen, two bands battling it out with members including some of our employees, headlining music featuring Schlitz Creek, tons of beer on draft, and the availability of special bottle releases that will be available for purchase. Lots of fun that you will not want to miss!!! Tokens will be handed out at 11am at the Beer Garten Brewery Door. You are more than welcome to hang out in the Beer Garten (not the parking lot) or taproom once you have received your token, or hell….go cruise the town of Marshall. Prior to 3pm, it will be your responsibility to line up at the Brewery Garten door in order of your token number (i.e. you have token number 25, you will be 25th in line). Doors will open at 3pm sharp!!! Once you get into the production facility, you will line up again in order of your token number at the special beer bottle release purchase line. It is your responsibility to get in that line according to your token number. Draft beer tickets will be available for purchase of draft beer.

2011 4 Elf Winter Ale: 19 cases / 2 – 4 pack limit
2012 4 Elf Winter Ale: 180 cases – no limit
2011 BBL Plead the 5th: 9 cases / 1 – 4 pack limit
2012 BBL Plead the 5th: 432 cases / 2 case limit

I've steadfastly avoided bottle releases because I don't deal well with shitshows. Seriously, I just want a case of this year's BBPt5th and I don't want too big of a hassle for it. We'll see what happens.

What is Dark Horse's layaway policy?

 

Nah, 9-10am should be fine.

 

I hope the special bottles aren't flat this year!

 

Last year you could show up at 6pm and buy beer and there were only approx 280 cases of BB Plead. I am sure it won't last that long this year even though there's more, but I don't see any reason for an early AM camp out either.

 

King of the Forrest is still dan good as of last weekend.

 

Dark Horse just changed the event details to include that tokens will be checked this year. This makes me very happy.

Bourbon Perkulator is 100% flat as of a couple months ago. Good to hear about the King of the Forrest, I haven't opened my bottles yet.

 

Yeah BA Perk has always been flat. Total bummer as it was beautiful on draft last year at 4Elf.

 

When we left the 4 elf last year at 930 pm, there were still cases of bb plead left...

 

Yeah we left around 7:30 last year and there was still a line and a fair amount of beer still sitting there. Wasn't sure when it finally sold out though.
