Candy and dessert inspired beer is fun sometimes, but these days the industry has focused on those gimmicks way too much. Most of it is beer for people who don't like beer.

 

Huge, HUGE fan of the peppermint beers GI has done. One of my favorite Christmas-time traditions is showing up as soon as the latest BA peppermint stout pops up; I tell my family I'm on call for when the social media announcement goes up.

 

Peppermint is overpowering, it only work if the stout has big and bold flavors to match it.

 

Sometimes your trolling is physically exhausting like my neck literally starts to hurt.

Was just curious how crowded Sheffield's gets. Was debating between Seffield's or Fountainhead for a pour. I see they tap most variants at 6pm. If I get there about 7:30 will there still be some available on tap or does it go quick? Thanks for any input.
