Snow picture malfunction, good news glass didn’t brake, bad news lost 7 ounces of sauce. Poured into a 16 oz Snulip bottled on 10/23/18. Pours a very dark brown with a 3 finger light brown head that leaves a nice thin wall of lace. 4

Smell coffee, cocoa nibs, vanilla, and some hazelnut. 3.75

Taste follows a tad one dimensional and that isn’t a complaint at all. Coffee, cocoa, and vanilla. 4

Mouthfeel is about medium, gentle carbonation, not really dry for the style, and drinks more like 6.5% as opposed to 5.6%. 4

Overall a very solid beer, no wow factor but tasty for sure. Cheers all. 4

 

Good morning BAs! Well, it's a non-raining, non-sleeting, non-snowing morning here in NW PA, at least so far. I can see all the wet leaves that have to be raked up - they feel while I was gone for two weeks. Some of them will bite the dust later today, assuming the non-precipitation continues.
Today's New Breakfast Beer:



A passable Berliner Weisse.

 

Such an awesome and unique beer. The best description I can come up with is if Xocoveza was brewed as an ale instead of a stout. Coffee and spices stand out, no bitterness and very easy to drink. Cinnamon and nutmeg I think? Very creamy mouthfeel. I didn't even know this existed and am very glad to have tried it, thanks @SammyJaxxxx

Moving on, I won’t cry much over spilled beer.

 

Underrated beer. Hope we get some variants released this year

 

I mean it's just an adult snow cone now, right??
