Is that the rarer of BCBS this year? I don’t know how to keep score with these beers, haha.

Mate I would not have had you down as someone with any level of interest in BCBS

FWIW I haven’t seen Reserve (or Coffee Barleywine) on Long Island at all. If that Reserve really is “only” $20, I think that’s a steal.

I think it would be remiss not to mention, most Westside Markets are pricy anyway. Pricy for Manhattan, which is saying something.

That Westside Market had a bunch of Reserve still when I left. They’re 30 a pop. Somewhat funny it’s cheaper than Bramble and Coffee Barleywine.

Update: went to a local bottle shop to grab some muled cans from yesterday's OH when the owner's son whipped out bottles of the Wheatwine and Vanilla from under the counter. Caved and bought one of each.

There goes the last shred of integrity that I had.

Nah, I enjoy these beers. They are always very good (except when infected, ahem) and I think still the gold standard for monstrous stouts/pastry stouts, etc.

Exactly, although I confess that nearly half of the BCBS I've ever consumed has been poured over vanilla ice cream.

    Sorry, I was wrong . . . it's $30 at Westside.

Anyone recall how WF Gowanus faired with this release last year? Did regs stick around for awhile or no?

It’s okay by me. I’m not in Manhattan anymore. I know once I tried to buy a singlecut bottle there and they were charging $10-plus. A grimm can was $8. I walked out. This is the one on 3rd ave in the East Village.

The disparity we're seeing in the coffee prices is astonishing. $30.99 at West Side Market, $19.99 at Carmine Street.

In spite of what our local hazepecker @rozzom says, I will be there sans walker. Will look for you, remember what you look like from your old profile photo and I think I have seen you at Sixpoint. Looking forward to this event.
